Immersion heaters are used to maintain or raise the temperature of fluids in tanks or process vessels. These are installed preferably at a level below the outlet of the tank / vessel so that the heater is fully submerged in the liquid at all times. Heater capacities are determined based on the application, dimensions are decided based on the availability of space and allowable watt densities. Immersion Heaters can be used to heat gasses or fluid ranging from water to corrosive solutions, oils with varying viscosities in an open or enclosed tank. Immersion heaters can be classified on the basis of direct heating and indirect heating.

Tubular Direct Immersion Heaters are installed in a tank or container to heat liquids. Since the liquid is in direct contact with the heating elements the heat transfer efficiency is much better than indirect heating and is almost 100%.

These Immersion heaters are one of the most widely used methods for heating liquids (such as water, oil, heat transfer fluid and corrosive solutions). Designed for use in tanks and pressurized vessels, they are easy to install and maintain. The direct immersion method is energy efficient and can be easily monitored and controlled. These heaters are available with heating elements made of copper, steel, stainless steel 304 /316, cast iron, titanium, and PFA coated. A wide selection of kilowatt ratings, shapes and mounting options are available to suit many different types of applications.

Product Details:

We design and manufacture Immersion, Inline / circulation and Outflow heaters to be used in Hazardous areas with flame proof Terminal box and Junction box. For smaller sizes upto 3" Flange / BSP Threading only terminal boxes are provided, for bigger sizes Terminal box and junction box both are provided.

The heaters are custom design to suit the application . MOC of the Sheath pipe we provide is SS 304 / 316 on request we can provide Incoloy.

MOC of the Body can be Carbon steel or Stainless Steel depending on the applciation requirement. All heaters come with thermowell for installaing Thermostat or RTD probe, we generally provide 2 Thermostats or RTDs for each heater, 1 for control and other for safety.

Stainless Steel Tubular Immersion Heaters are designed for direct contact heating of water, oils, viscous liquids, solvents, process solutions and gases. As all heat is generated within the liquid or process, virtually 100% heat transfer is achieved. Further, various options permit very tight process temperature control.
